Types of tents
DIFFERENT TYPES OF TENTS FOR DIFFERENT EVENTS
are ideal for public events such as carnivals, community day events, flea markets, etc. These events typically do not need tents that are aesthetically pleasing. Canopies are basic tents that are used for shelter from sunlight or light rain. They do not have a high peak and depending on the size, can have a somewhat flattened style roof. Lightweight canopy tents are not equipped for sidewalls and are not designed to be used in heavy wind or rain. Smaller canopies are often used for small, backyard parties where the customer is looking for an economical alternative to a professionally installed tent as they are easy to install and can be picked up and set up by the customer themselves.
Traditional pole tents
have been a staple in the rental industry for a good reason. They are the ideal style of tent for all types of occasions. They feature high peaks and are offered in many different sizes and widths from 20′ to 60′. Typically, pole tents are used for larger events such as weddings, corporate picnics, fundraisers, etc. They can be decorated with fabric and pole skirts for a very elegant look or can be used for casual parties as well. The disadvantages of pole tents are that they require a larger footprint as staking is critical to the installation and inside views can sometimes be obstructed by the center poles underneath the tent. Sidewalls of different styles are available for pole tents as well.

Cross cable frame tents
are the ideal type of tent to rent when you need to have a tent installed on a surface other than grass or dirt. Frame tents are the type of tent to choose when installing on pavement, concrete, decks, patios, etc. as they do not rely on staking. These tents have no center poles underneath which means there are no obstructions. They have dramatic high peaks and are designed to hold up to higher amounts of wind. These types of tents are also a great choice when working with different layouts as they can be joined together to create different shapes such as L-shaped or T-shaped tents. Sidewalls of different styles are also available for these tents. Cross cable frame tents are a wonderful choice for all different events including backyard birthday parties, showers, engagements and smaller weddings with less than 100 guests.

These tents are very unique and are excellent for product previews, fun and games, event registration, etc. Generally speaking they are not good for dining, food, or any item that would have an open flame such as cooking. In the event you lose power they will deflate rather quickly. These tents can be staked into grass or weighted for use on pavement or other.
